Preening the yard

We're working at preening the yard for the upcoming Garden Tour being sponsored by the North Mobile Garden Society. Ed has edged and I have pulled weeds until blue in the face from bending over so much. It's great having the beautiful oak trees, but right now I'm fed up with pulling little oaks out of the flower beds. The soil warmed up and all of the little acorns sprouted at the same time! Same thing with the Sweetgum and the Hickory. The Sweetgum has a million little trees coming up! Whew!!
