Here is one of my favorite border plants starting to bloom: "Tickseed"

Browsing around, I found the Apple Blossom amyrillis bloom open:
We do not remember days...
We remember moments.

"An hour in the garden puts life's problems into perspective."
Some say I am confined to wheelchairBut I don’t think they know
That though my body is affected I still am on the go.
I go to visit those I love
And walk to market place;
I tread the woods until it rains
And then the rainbow trace.
Of course my body cannot always go
For it’s been restricted for days,
But who would say paralysis confines
A soul and mind that dreams and prays?
Although my body sometimes lets me down
Through days of darkest night,
My spirit soars on wings of prayer
And moves with speed of light.
In dreams and prayer I visit those I love;
Great is the gift of prayer;
And when my thoughts are beamed toward you
You’ll sense my presence there.

I just planted a flat of white impatiens, love them ...everyone should have gerbera daisies..
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing the plants you can grow that you don't see out in gardens in the Pacific Northwest. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteI have quite a variety of things blooming now. Veggies are doing good also. Too much rain tho. Finally going to warm up to 80 by Fri.
