It has been raining (huricane type rain) since the early hours of morning.  Rather gloomy!
I took a few pictures from the porch.  A Humming bird visited our feeder while I was there.

Friendship

We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed.  As in filling a vessel drop by drop there is at last which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses there is at last one which makes the heart run over.
--James Boswell, Scotish biographer (1740-1795)

Fall Colors

Hickory trees across the street from our house.
Those leaves will wind up in our yard.

Aloe cactus (light green plant behind the bunch of daylily greenery.
Ed took all of it out yesterday.
Babies kept coming up from the roots-- all out into the grass.
I told him to get it out.
I had no idea it would multiply like it did.
