We do not remember days...
We remember moments.
(Cesare Pavese)
********
"An hour in the garden puts life's problems into perspective."
Some say I am confined to wheelchairBut I don’t think they know
That though my body is affected I still am on the go.
I go to visit those I love
And walk to market place;
I tread the woods until it rains
And then the rainbow trace.
Of course my body cannot always go
For it’s been restricted for days,
But who would say paralysis confines
A soul and mind that dreams and prays?
Although my body sometimes lets me down
Through days of darkest night,
My spirit soars on wings of prayer
And moves with speed of light.
In dreams and prayer I visit those I love;
Great is the gift of prayer;
And when my thoughts are beamed toward you
You’ll sense my presence there.

When I see your Angel Trumpet I am green with envy. Mine was planted last fall and has managed to survive this hot, dry summer. It did not grow more than about 6 inches so I am hoping that it spent its time growing roots. Hubby watered it deeply. Hive high hopes for next year.
ReplyDeleteI can't get over your Angel Trumpet. Mine didn't grow neither did it bloom. I have one in the ground & one in a pot that was brought to me by my brother from Ga. He said it wouldn't bloom as long as it was in a pot but I've seen them in pots.
ReplyDeleteWhat could I be doing wrong?
I don't have a clue. I planted mine years ago and they return each year and bloom. The one against the greenhouse foundation does better than the others planted around in flower beds.
