We do not remember days...
We remember moments.
(Cesare Pavese)
********
"An hour in the garden puts life's problems into perspective."
Some say I am confined to wheelchairBut I don’t think they know
That though my body is affected I still am on the go.
I go to visit those I love
And walk to market place;
I tread the woods until it rains
And then the rainbow trace.
Of course my body cannot always go
For it’s been restricted for days,
But who would say paralysis confines
A soul and mind that dreams and prays?
Although my body sometimes lets me down
Through days of darkest night,
My spirit soars on wings of prayer
And moves with speed of light.
In dreams and prayer I visit those I love;
Great is the gift of prayer;
And when my thoughts are beamed toward you
You’ll sense my presence there.

Daylilies are gorgeous! We dont' have any even close to blooming. I really wish to know the secret of getting 'Basket of Gold' to look so good. I've tried it with no luck:(
ReplyDeleteThanks for your well wishes for Skeeter. I'll pass it on to her and I know it will mean a lot to her. She is helping her parents and taking a break from the blog to do so.
Wow ~ your daylilies bloom this early? That's amazing.
ReplyDeleteMarilyn,
ReplyDeleteI think you are about a week ahead of us on the daylily blooms, must be a little warmer there.--Randy
My Stella O'Day daylilies are just starnin' to bloom. Yours are just beautiful. I would imagine Mother's Day is still really difficult for ya. I just wanted to thank you for your visit and sweet comment on my blog. Please visit often, the door of the Ponderosa is always open.
ReplyDeleteGod bless ya and enjoy this beautiful day!!!
